News - 2006 Holiday Newsletter
Well it's that time of year again. Time to bring out the tree, wrap presents and gather to enjoy another Christmas Show showcasing all of the talent that Dance Fusion has to offer.
Please be advised that in the upcoming weeks there will be invoices going home for Recital costumes. They have nothing to do with the Christmas Show, however, we will need to order costume before the New Year. Please check out this website regularly for Recital information, and keep in mind all of the dates around Recital, including Picture Day and Rehearsals.
So it's time for “Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree!” An afternoon filled with Rock N' Roll Christmas favorites starring our very own Dance Fusion students. This will be a short afternoon show to be enjoyed by the whole family, lots of dancing, lots of great music and lots of fun!
Tickets for the show will go on sale Monday November 27th @ 5:00pm. There are no ticket limits and it is open seating. Tickets are $10.00 each.
“Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree” – Holiday Spectacular Show
Sunday December 17th 2006 @ 2:00pm (show will finish by 3:30pm)
On the back of this Newsletter please find the required attire/costumes each class will be wearing for the Christmas Show. Any attire listed is a required class uniform piece so all students are expected to have it. There may be a small extra that you have laying around your house, but for the most part nothing should be a surprise. All students are required at this point to have the appropriate and required shoes for each class as listed on our studio Policies/Dress Code sheet you received at Registration.
Our Christmas Show will again be taking place at the Armenian Youth Center, located at 50 Hallcrown Place (Victoria Park and the 401). There is ample free parking for all guests. Students must arrive at the Theatre ready to dance, in costume by 1:00pm. Theatre doors will open at 1:30pm, so parents may congregate in the lounge area. Please be advised that no parents are allowed in the warm-Up room or backstage at any time. Students can be picked up in the gym following the show.
We are looking forward to a fabulous Christmas Show and wish everyone an enjoyable Holiday Season!
Yours in dance,
Barb Croft – Director
